My Valentine's Day Nails!

I know I'm two days late for this post but, for Valentine's Day I decided to do a marble nail dragging heart design! I had so much trouble doing this design because I was just SO clumsy that day. I also tried doing a tutorial but I had left my tripod at home so my friend had to hold the camera for me. The angles and the lighting wasn't that great so I'm not too crazy about the results of the video. I'm still debating whether or not I should put it up. Let me know if you want to see and I'll consider putting it up! hehe.

Anyway, when working with nail dragging, you must be QUICK! If you're too slow, the polish will start to dry and then you end up dragging clumps of dry polish. That's when the frustration will kick in so don't let it happen to you!

I used:
Something Sweet & Sugar High by China Glaze
Needle

On a brighter note, Rebecca Minkoff featured one of my nail designs on her blog! How exciting! You can check it out here :)

Little Marble Hearts

Hey guys!

So I think I'll posting old manis since I don't have the time to do any new nail art because of my summer job. I hope you like them & don't worry, I'll be back with fresh new nail art hopefully soon! :)

I used:
Base color - Something Sweet by China Glaze
Hearts - Sugar High and For Audrey by China Glaze

This look was inspired by Babsita84 on YouTube. It's super cute and easy to do! :) Here's her video!

Then if you want, you can check out my video and how I do this look! :D

Enjoy! I hope you like them! :D

Diagonal Leopard Print II - Seaweed

Went to Rite Aid today and picked up Seaweed by Sinful Colors from their Adventure Island Collection which everyone has been saying is the Pirates of the Carribean Dupe Collection. But for 2 bucks? It's a win! :D

I was going to purchase the other colors from their collection but I have very similar colors close to theirs so I only picked up one.

At first, the polish was very very streaky. But since a lot of polishes do that, all you have to do it apply a 2nd or 3rd coat to achieve that color in the nail polish bottle. :)

Looks a bit like a light tan sandy color eh?
Better angle?
Added the leopard print!

Taken with my crackberry
Base Color - Seaweed by Sinful Colors
Pink Dots - Something Sweet by China Glaze
Black - Time Off by Sinful Colors

As you can tell by the pictures, my digital camera and blackberry camera shows a different color eh? I think my bb camera shows the true Seaweed color; whereas my digital camera takes it as a very light tan sandy color right? What do you think? :P

Flip Flop Fantasy

Hey Everyone!

Sorry it's been a little while. I had to cut my nails shorter since one of my nails broke :( But here's a great color for the summer!

no flash

This color is very tricky to take a picture of. It looks hot pink but then it looks like a neon orange! Nonetheless, I love this color! :)

The ring finger was a free style design, so it's super super easy! Watch my tutorial do get this look! :) You can always improvise and use different colors!

My Blue Floral Nails

So as you can tell from my past few posts, I've been doing the same floral design with different base colors. This design really looks good with any nice solid color, preferably a pastel color. But it's super cute! My nails almost look fake and my friends keep asking me if I did them myself, which I did. Silly them.

These are all the things I used!
For Audrey by  China Glaze

Add stripes on any nail you'd like. I chose the ring finger. White Stripes - Bad Chick by Sinful Colors

I mixed two polishes. Dreamy Poppy by Wet n Wild & Snow Me White by Sinful Colors. Dipped my bobby pin in the middle of the two polishes to get that two toned flower.
Add some leaves! Leaves - Tree Hugger by China Glaze

Super cute! I love this design! It's really simple! If you want to know how to do these nails, just watch my tutorial! Click here :) Just to let you guys know, my nails and the design came out so much better than my little cousin's. hehe :P
