Gold Flakes!
Today I went on an interview which forced me to take my cherry blossoms nails off. Thus, making me do my nails something more subtle and work appropriate.
I used:
South of the Hi'way
As Gold as it Gets by Essie Luxeffects
At first, I was only planning on applying one coat of As Gold as it Gets on my ring finger as an accent nail but turned out that I did it to all of them because well, is absolutely gorgeous!!! I love the gold flakes! They're so OMG pretty!!! Definitely love this polish!

Arizona Green Tea Inspired Nails!
Paint on a mint colored polish |
Add some branches |
Then add the flowers! |
Yeaaaauuppp! You guessed it! I filed them oval shaped! Seeing a lot of other nail bloggers and their oval shaped nails gave me the idea to try it out! My nails were actually starting to rip since square nails usually break easily so I decided to file them all round. I plan to file them into claws once they get longer!! Muahahaha! Too scary? What do you think I should do? hehe
Anyway, I feel like I did this design too early because it's a very spring feel design. But I didn't know what to paint my nails so I figured I do some cherry blossoms :) I've actually done this design before but tips! Click here to get a reminder ;)
I used:
I Need A Refresh-Mint/Menthe Fraiche 218A by Wet n Wild Megalast
Ring Finger - Something Sweet by China Glaze
Black Striper polish
Flowers - Sugar High by China Glaze
Here's the tutorial! :D Enjoy!

Winny's Asian Nails!
Yesterday, Winny looked through my nail album and wanted THIS design. Instead of pink, I used Size Matters by Essie. It's a very asian/chinese feel of nails. It's gotta be the red, black, and silver. It just has that feel! haha
Magnetic Polishes!
Houses of Parliament by Nails inc |
Magnetix by Icing |
Liz's nails! |
The first one if from Sephora and it's called, Houses of Parliament by Nails Inc. For the magnets, I used the ones from China Glaze. The ring finger was supposed to be the star design but I'm still a noob at doing it so you only see half the star...not even lol.
For the second and third picture, I painted my friend's nails. It's the blue metallic magnetix polish from Icing. Although you can't really see the colors, after the magnet affect, it becomes a blue and purple color which is absolutely gorgeous! But in the pictures, they look more like waves which is still pretty cool! :)

Water Marbling!
My boyfriend really wanted to see me do some water marbles so he chose most of the color combinations and I gave it a go! I still need to figure out how or why the polish doesn't spread out completely sometimes. Is it because my polish is too thick? I am most confused. But anyway, I just played around with all these colors and this is how it turned out! :D

Half Moon nails!
Yesterday, I did one of my boyfriend's friend's nails! She said she saw a picture on tumblr and then drew out the design for me. Haha. That's when I realized she wanted half moon nails. & here they are! She chose the colors herself. & BTW, I didn't have my nail art brush so half moons are a bit messy :(
I used:
Black Creme by Wet n Wild underneath
Case Study by Essie on top! :D

Freehanded Zebra Print for Winny!
This past Sunday, I did some freehanded zebra stripes on Winny's nails! She already painted on School of Hard Rocks by Essie by herself so all I did was did the zebra stripes. Then added some silver for some spunk! :)
She kept saying how obnoxious it looked. haha. I actually really liked how it came out! :D
I used:
Base Color - School of Hard Rocks by Essie
Black & Silver nail striper polish
My Valentine's Day Nails!
I know I'm two days late for this post but, for Valentine's Day I decided to do a marble nail dragging heart design! I had so much trouble doing this design because I was just SO clumsy that day. I also tried doing a tutorial but I had left my tripod at home so my friend had to hold the camera for me. The angles and the lighting wasn't that great so I'm not too crazy about the results of the video. I'm still debating whether or not I should put it up. Let me know if you want to see and I'll consider putting it up! hehe.
Anyway, when working with nail dragging, you must be QUICK! If you're too slow, the polish will start to dry and then you end up dragging clumps of dry polish. That's when the frustration will kick in so don't let it happen to you!
I used:
Something Sweet & Sugar High by China Glaze
Needle
On a brighter note, Rebecca Minkoff featured one of my nail designs on her blog! How exciting! You can check it out here :)
Heart Leopard Print Nails for Maggie!
This past Monday, I did another heart leopard print nail design! Did it for a good friend of mine, Maggie. If you guys want to check out her blog, I'll attach a link to her name :) Anyway, this is how it turned out! Pretty cute eh? If you guys want to check out the tutorial for this, click here! :D
I used:
Base color - Lady Like by Essie
Spots - English Rose by Rimmel
Outlines - Black Creme by Wet n Wild

Heart Leopard Print Nails for Nicole!
This week, a very good friend of mine came over and we chatted. Then I saw how long her nails had grown out from before and decided to paint them! muahahahaha!!! As you can see from the picture, it is a heart leopard nail design. It is super easy and super cute for valentine's day! :)
I used:
Base Color: South of the Hi'way by Essie
Hearts&Spots: Frills by Color Club
Black: Any black striper polish
Here's the tutorial on howto get this look! Enjoy! :D

Da na na na na na na na BAT NAIL!
Last Sunday, my friend, Kevin saw me at church & asked me to paint his thumb nail. I don't know why but don't ask me. hahaha. Lester told me to paint a bat and so I did! I was surprised he let me paint it on him. Whataman!
I know it's a little too late for Halloween nails but this is definitely something I would wear on my nail for Halloweenie. Isn't it super cute?! haha. Anyway, that's all for now! :)

Purple Glitter Gradient Nails
Not sure if you guys could tell... but as you can see, I am on a roll with new posts! Sometimes I just get so busy that I don't have time to post everyday. It just so happens that it's easier to post a couple posts in one day. hehe. I hope it's not too confusing!
Anyway, this week I bought two new Color Club polishes. This one is called, Tru Passion. It's just a purple glitter polish. Once I saw this polish, I knew I was going to do some glitter gradient design. Glitter gradient/glitter tips just look so damn good!!! Especially in the sunlight! I love how it sparkles and blinds your eyes. ;)
Even though I've done glitter gradient tutorials before, I just had to make another one. hehe. Enjoy! :)
Valentine's Day Nails!
Alright. So last week, I really wanted to do a Valentine's Day nail design but I just couldn't pick one so I did a whole bunch! I've got a craaazy heart thing going on eh? The hearts on the pinky didn't come out too well...oops. But nonetheless, I fell in LOVE with this whole combo! Definitely appropriate for Valentine's Day & SUPER cute!
Maggie kept telling me to tweet my nails to Katy Perry. haha & I did btw. Of course, she probably didn't see them :( Anyway! These aren't my official nails for Valentine's Day so stay tuned for that! :) <3
Colored Galaxy Nails
Last week, I bought these new sponges and thought it would be a perfect time to try it out with galaxy nails so this is what I came up with. Excuse the sides of my nails. I only did this design for fun & took them off right off afterwards. :P
So what do you guys think? Is it too crazy and colorful? Experimenting can be lots of fun, especially trying out different color combos! Yay! :D

I'm not too crazy about I'd Like To Thank... but it's still a nice color.
